I did not want to post this before because this is her news to share, in her way, in her time, but Capt. Obvious told me that "everyone knows" now.
My sweet-MIL has been diagnosed with endometrial cancer. This has just happened. This is the beginning of her cancer journey. I ache for her because I love her and because I've traveled the road she is starting down.
Obviously, I will do everything I can to help her.

So sorry to hear this. She's incredibly lucky to have you around though both for emotional support and your wealth of cancer resource knowledge!
Hope all is well...We've been super busy, but finding time for a sailing trip with you guys is on my list of things to plan once things settle down a bit (probably after our trip to BC).
I think that endometrial cancer can be pretty treatable, and sometimes a hysterectomy is all that is needed. I hope that is the case here.
If your MIL is computer savvy, the site hystersisters.com is invaluable for both hysterectomy info, and cancer info (in the cancer concerns section).
